The Corrective affidavit allows for re-recording of documents in certain situations that is much easier than in the past. Any person involved with the document or the transaction may complete, sign and be notarized.

• Incorrect or missing address of any party named on the document
• Illegible text on the document 
• Signature block not completed correctly. (Example- name not typed or entity not named in the signature block)
